1. About Trans Journey

Trans Journey is a journaling community for trans and questioning people. Members share their journeys through posts, transition timelines, comments, and direct messages. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Community Guidelines.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Trans Journey. We do not knowingly allow accounts for children under 13, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Accounts found to belong to children under 13 will be removed.

3. Content rules

All posts, timeline photos, comments, and direct messages must follow our Community Guidelines. In summary:

• This is not an adult content site. Pornographic or sexually explicit content is strictly prohibited and will result in removal and a ban.
• Comments and direct messages must affirm and support the poster. Negative, hostile, or invalidating messages will be removed and repeat offenders may be banned.
• Members under 18 may not post photos or videos of themselves. If we suspect a member posting photos or video is under 18, the account will be banned.
• Photos and videos may only depict you. Content showing anyone else will be removed.
• AI-generated or AI-modified content of any kind (text, images, or video) is prohibited.
• Illegal content, harassment, hate speech, spam, impersonation, and posting anyone else's personal information (doxxing) are prohibited.
• You retain ownership of what you post, but grant us a license to store and display it as part of operating the service.

4. Moderation

New accounts are reviewed by moderators before their journeys become visible, and a member's first few posts and comments are held for review before appearing publicly. Members can report posts, comments, messages, and accounts; reported direct messages may be reviewed by moderators. Moderators may remove content, decline accounts, and ban members at their discretion to keep the community safe.

5. Your account

You can sign up with an email address and password or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login credentials safe. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Disclaimers

Trans Journey is a peer support community, not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or legal advice. Posts describe members' personal experiences and should not be treated as guidance. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for user-generated content.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
